The Full Brain method

Six steps, every single lesson

Most online courses are a video and a quiz. Watching feels like learning and rarely is. Every lesson here moves through six steps, and the lesson editor will not publish one with an empty slot — so the method is built into the page rather than left to whoever wrote the course.

  1. Step 1

    Hook

    What you do

Sees a real problem or story that makes the topic matter

    On the page

Short intro video or scenario card

  2. Step 2

    Picture

    What you do

    Understands the idea visually

    On the page

Diagram, animation or annotated screenshot block

  3. Step 3

    Logic

    What you do

    Follows the structured explanation

    On the page

Main video plus written notes with key terms

  4. Step 4

    Do

    What you do

    Applies it hands-on

    On the page

Guided exercise, lab steps or interactive widget

  5. Step 5

    Recall

    What you do

    Retrieves it from memory

    On the page

Quiz with instant feedback; flashcards in Phase 2

  6. Step 6

    Reflect

    What you do

    Connects it to own work

    On the page

One-question reflection saved to the learner's notes

How the method shapes the platform

Progress counts steps

Your progress reflects steps completed, not minutes of video played. Finishing a lesson means working through all six.

Spaced review

From Phase 2, Recall questions come back after 1, 7 and 30 days, because retrieval at spacing is what moves knowledge into long-term memory.

A capstone that combines Do and Reflect

Each course ends with a small real-world task, so you finish with something you have actually produced.

Why levels matter

Every skill is graded by the support line it serves, so a course can tell you not just what a topic is, but what your next role up will expect you to do with it. The same topic appears at all three levels, with different depth.

LevelSupport lineWhat you can doTypical learner
L1 Foundation1st lineLogs, triages and fixes known issues without breaking validated stateService desk staff, graduates, career changers
L2 Practitioner2nd lineBuilds, configures and repairs lab PCs and accounts under change controlDesktop / field engineers, lab IT analysts
L3 Specialist3rd lineDesigns standards, leads root cause, owns qualification and lifecycleSenior lab IT engineers, system owners
